mission, allowing you to call on them whenever you need help. One of the first available missions has the owner of a pumpkin farm emphati-cally asking your character to check out her dog, Boomer, who is restless and spooked. By the time you arrive, Boomer has been locked in a cage by the ne’er-do-wells of Eden’s Gate, who are mocking the dog through the bars. After some careful shotgun blasts and inevitable reinforcements that ruin the day, the dog joins your crew as a part ner, staying by your side as long as he is assigned. Another mission wins you a more bombastic, but decidedly less cute, partner. A local aviation nut’s family airplane has been stolen by the cult, so they can drop bombs on targets. The pilot was planning to take the plane and his pregnant wife out of Montana, but needs your help to get the plane back. Upon retrieving the plane, the pilot is emboldened to join the resistance, and your character helps him protect his previews home. Calling on his aid rains down hell on your enemies. A third partner asks you to retrieve her father’s semi-truck, a big rig designed for ramming. Arriving on the scene, I sic Boomer on an enemy. After another cult member notices the attack, he fires a shot that accidentally opens the cage on the wolf being kept in the area. Scrambling up a ladder, we watch from the safety of a nearby roof as the wolf tears through the entire camp of his own volition.
